The blossom season has started! We are lucky enough to live in the Vale of Evesham, and the Blossom Trail is all around us. And our crab apple tree is no exception.
This tree following idea is genius, otherwise the changes every month just pass by almost
without noticing. I’m enjoying reading about other people’s trees and seeing the changes recorded every month. If you want to know more about the tree following challenge, head over to the Loose & Leafy blog for more details. If you click on my Tree Following category you can see my original post in March, as well as April’s update to compare the difference.
As you follow your tree, we are also tracking the blue skies from grey. I wonder how long it will take for the building opposite to be hidden by the branches and leaves. (Is it an old school house or a chapel?)
It is a chapel, quite a busy one with coffee mornings, youth club and of course services on Sundays. I couldn’t believe the difference in the photo I take from our spare bedroom above the tree, will be good to see it in another month!
What stunning blossom photos! Our tiny cherry tree flowered for the first time … *exciting* … will we have fruit, I wonder!

Thank you, I love to see the blossom out, we’re surrounded by it here. Hope you get a good crop of cherries on your tree!
